Sejak tahun 2000 silam, ibu muda bernama lengkap Margaretha Dani Sungkawaningsih ini mulai bergelut dengan dunia motor. Kendati dirinya buta pada dunia motor, tapi demi keluarga dan suami tercinta, Margaretha rela tubuhnya berlumur oli dan debu.
“Waktu itu saya tidak tega melihat suami saya kerja sendiri sementara kerjaan bengkelnya banyak seperti bongkar mesin, ganti oli, tambal dan ganti ban,” terang ibu yang akrab disapa Reta ini disela-sela kunjungan mekanik asal Jogyakarta ke pabrik pelumas Evalube di Bekasi.
“Karena waktu itu belum ada tenaga bantuan, akhirnya saya mulai belajar untuk membantunya. Waktu itu saya hanya berani melakukan pekerjaan penggantian oli saja, akhirnya sekarang saya juga mengerjakan tambal dan ganti ban motor,” tambah nya.
Tidak mudah baginya ketika mulai mengerjakan pekerjaan yang biasa dikerjakan sang suami, selain karena dirinya adalah wanita, tenaga yang dimilikinya tidak cukup besar untuk mengendurkan dan mengencangkan baut dan mur motor.
Tapi demi meringankan beban sang suami dalam meraih rejeki sebagai bekal masa depan keluarga, Reta mampu mengalahkan segala kelemahan yang ada pada dirinya.
Ya. Meski hanya sebatas mengganti oli dan ganti ban, Reta pantas mendapatkan acungan jempol. Karena tak sedikit kaum lelaki yang tak bisa mengerjakan apa yang dilakukan ibu dari Filipus Rio Pangestu (10) dan Carolus Jordan Wijaya (3).
Untuk urusan service mesin atau tune up, Reta belum berani untuk mengerjakannya. Menurutnya, ilmunya belum sampai ke urusan mesin. Selain itu, tenaganya juga tak sebesar tenaga sang suami, jadi Reta memilih untuk membantu penggantian oli dan ganti ban saja.
Kini bengkel Tejo Ban Motor dengan luas 5 x 8 meter yang berlokasi di Jl. Magelang Km.16 Lungkuk Margerojo, Tempel Sleman Jogyakarta, juga merambah sebagai distributor oli.
“Sekarang bengkel juga jual dan distribusikan oli ke bengkel lain. Kalau suami saya sedang mengirim oli ke bengkel lain, saya yang jaga bengkel ngerjain tambal dan ganti ban serta ganti oli. Untuk service sudah ada tenaga bantuan sekarang,” jelasnya.
Waahh….!! Salut deh buat ibu kelahiran 31 tahun silam ini…
