First Ride CBR 250R

GILAMOTOR.com, Sentul. – Motor sport seperempat liter anyar dari Honda seharga Rp 46.5 juta, dijajal di sirkuit Sentul, Bogor, oleh para wartawan, Sabtu (26/2) kemarin. Kesempatan yang diberikan oleh PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), menjadi pembuktian kekuatan mesin dan desain motor sport yang pertamakali hadir di Thailand, tahun lalu.

Tester Gilamotor mencatatkan kecepatan puncaknya hingga 155 km/jam. Angka ini bukan angka mati, pasalnya ada beberapa tester yang mampu nemembus angka 160 km/jam.

Well, sebelum bicara lebih jauh impresi pertama diatas CBR 250R, ada baiknya kita urai sedikit demi sedikit sosok motor yang dikatakan menjadi penantang Ninja 250R ini.

Desain

Desain CBR 250R merupakan perpaduan dua motor super sport Honda yang telah lama malang melintang di diunia otomotif roda dua dunia, CBR 1000RR dan VFR 1200F.

Desain fairing menampilkan desain generasi terbaru Honda yang dirancang dengan bentuk dinamis dan sporti. Honda mengklaim, desain ini berdasarkan “Mass Centralization Form” guna memberikan handling sempurna dengan tampilan yang mewah.

Sementara untuk saluran gas buang, Honda membekali knalpot CBR 250R dengan desain yang elegan. Desain knalpot berbentuk poligonal dilengkapi dengan peredam khusus dan dibuat dari bahan baja stainless berwarna hitam dengan cover berwarna silver sebagai pelindung panas.

Bagian ekor, Honda menancapkan rear grip yang stylish. Pegangan tangan atau behel yang didesain terpisah memberikan kesan yang lebih sporti.

Posisi Berkendara

Pertamakali menyemplak motor sport seperempat liter terbaru milik Honda ini, tester Gilamotor langsung dihadapkan dengan tampilan kokpit yang mewah. Panel instrument dengan indicator LED bernuansa biru futuristis menampilkan informasi yang lengkap. Termasuk kecepatan, temperatur mesin dan putaran mesin, indicator bahan bakar, jam, odo meter serta trip meter yang mudah dilihat.

Untuk posisi berkendara, sepertinya Honda tahu benar bagaimana situasi lalulintas di Indonesia khususnya di kota-kota besar seperti Jakarta yang selalu macet. Posisi berkendara yang ergonomis, memudahkan pengendalian dan kestabilan saat bermanufer. Dan yang utama adalah mengurangi rasa pegal yang berlebih saat perjalanan jauh atau berada di tengah kemacetan.

Wajar, jika nuansa sport touring sangat kental terasa saat berada diatas CBR 250R ini. Kendati kental dengan nuansa sport rouring, desain tangki CBR 250R yang dibuat lebih rounded membuat posisi paha dan tangan mudah untuk menjepit tangki dan merubah posisi saat akan menggeber dengan posisi benunduk.

Handling dan Performa

Saat tombol elektrik starter ditekan, raungan mesin terdengar halus keluar dari moncong knalpot bergaya poligonal yang elegan. Saat motor ini berjalan pelan, kesan pertama adalah ringan dan mudah dikendarai.

Diputaran awal di lintasan sirkuit Sentul, tester Gilamotor hanya menikmati dan mengenali karakter CBR 250R yang kalem namun tersimpan tenaga yang sangar. Kecepatan rata-rata di putaran awal, tester Gilamotor hanya sekitar 60 – 90 km/jam.

Ternyata tak perlu waktu lama untuk mengenali karakter motor sport anyar dari Honda ini. Memasuki putaran kedua, handling kian terasa menyenangkan, ringan dan mudah diajak melahap setiap sudut tikungan ke kiri dan ke kanan kendati dalam kecepatan tinggi. Seiring kenyamanan yang ditawarkan CBR 250R, angka di speedo meter digital pun kian tinggi. Rata-rata dikisaran 100 – 130 km/jam.

Penasaran dengan kekuatan yang tersimpan dibalik mesin berkapasitas 250 cc, 4 katup, DOHC, silinder tunggal, berpendingin cairan dengan transmisi enam percepatan, putaran tuas gas semakin jauh. Walhasil angka tertinggi yang diraih tester Gilamotor menyentuh angka 155 km/jam di trek lurus sirkuit sentul. Angka ini bukan angka mati, pasalnya ada beberapa tester yang mampu menembus angka 160 km/jam.

Angka 155 km/jam didapat pada putaran mesin 10.000 rpm dengan perpindahan gigi di tiap 9.000 – 10.000 rpm.

Perpindahan giginya terasa halus dan nyaris tak ada jedah. Diputaran bawah hingga atas tenaga terus mengisi sehingga memberi kenikmatan saat pengendara akan melakukan akselesari.

Dari hasil pengetesan, CBR 250R terasa sangat bersahabat sehingga mudah dikendarai. Handling yang ringan dan akselerasi yang cukup responsif, sangat cocok bagi Anda yang ingin upgrade tunggangan dengan kapasitas mesin yang lebih besar. Dan cocok juga bagi pengendara mobil yang ingin memiliki motor sport dengan desain yang mewah, elegan dan sporti.
