YZR-M1 WGP50th Anniversary Edition

GILAMOTOR.com. – Tahun ini Yamaha genap 50 tahun berkiprah di kejuaraan balap dunia Grand Prix. Memperingati hari istimewa itu, Yamaha Factory Racing menghadirkan desain khusus YZR-M1 WGP50th Anniversary Edition.

Motor dengan desain khusus ini akan digunakan duo pebalap Yamaha, Lorenzo dan Ben Spies, saat gelaran MotoGP di Assen TT, Belanda (25/6) dan Laguna Seca, Amerika Serikat (24/7) mendatang.

Namun, sebelum motor ini digunakan duo pebalap Yamaha, YZR-M1 WGP50th Anniversary Edition akan tampil ke hadapan publik pada 22 Juni mendatang sebelum seri Assen berlangsung.

Sekaligus memperingati kepirahnya di masa lalu, Yamaha menorehkan cat berwarna merah dan putih pada YZR-M1. Warna itu merupakan warna ikon kebanggan Yamaha. Tak hanya pada motornya, warna itu juga akan melekat pada pakaian seluruh kru Yamaha Factory Racing.

Logo khusus untuk perayaan 50 tahun Yamaha akan hadir pada tangki YZR-M1, di seragam tim Yamaha, di paddock Lorenzo dan Spies serta truk Yamaha Factory Racing.
