Program promosi ini memberikan beragam keuntungan bagi konsumen Honda. Selain mendapat jaket khusus, konsumen yang membeli New Blade pada program ini juga mendapatkan gratis bensin senilai Rp 2 juta. Atau dengan kata lain, konsumen mendapatkan diskon harga sebesar Rp 2 Juta.

Program promosi yang dibuka sejak pukul 14.30 wib, telah ditunggu oleh calon pembeli sejak pukul 7 pagi. Mereka rela antri sekian lama demi menjadi pemilik pertama New Honda Blade dengan tambahan keuntungan mendapatkan jaket ekslusif dan uang bensin untuk 1 tahun senilai Rp 2 juta.

“Kami tak menyangka animo masyarakat sampai sebesar ini. Bahkan antrian sampai mengular hingga ke luar arena,” ujar Auddie A Wiranata, Direktur Pemasaran PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) di sela-sela acara. Auddie menambahkan, “yang luar biasanya lagi ada yang rela antri sejak jam 7 pagi,” katanya.

Memang program ini hanya berada di Jakarta saja yang lokasinya hanya bisa dijangkau oleh masyarakat Jabodetabek. Namun tak menutup kemungkinan program seperti ini akan dilaksanakan juga di luar Jakarta.

“Kami belum bisa mengatakan iya atau tidak, kami akan pelajari. Jika memungkinkan kenapa tidak, program serupa dengan konsep berbeda di lakukan di luar Jakarta,” terang Agustinus Indra Putra, General Manager Marketing Planning & Analisys Division PT AHM.

Dari data yang masuk, 50% calon pemilik New Honda Blade membeli dengan cara chash, meski AHM telah bekerja sama dengan empat perusahaan lembaga keuangan seperti FIF, WOM Finance, Adira Finance dan Oto Finance.

Menurut Honda, program ini dilakukan sebagai apresiasi kepada konsumen Honda. Sambil menunggu giliran menyelesaikan urusan administrasi berupa penyerahan syarat-syarat yang ditentukan, calon pemilik pertama New Honda Blade dihibur oleh band Nidji yang membawakan beberapa lagu.
