GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta – Honda CBR 250R dinobatkan sebagai Bike of The Year 2012 versi Tabloid Otomotif. Dalam siaran pers yang dikeluarkan Honda, Rabu (21/3), selain meraih penghargaan Bike of The Year, Honda CBR250R juga dinobatkan sebagai motor tipe sport terbaik atau Best of the Best Sport dan juga Best of the Best 250 CC.
Honda CBR250R dibekali mesin 250cc, 6-kecepatan, DOHC, 4-valve, silinder tunggal, berpendingin cairan (liquid-cooled). Honda mengklaim, mesin ini menghasilkan performa dan respon tarikan yang optimal serta hemat bahan bakar dan ramah lingkungan karena telah menerapkan sistem suplai bahan bakar PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection).
Selain meraih tiga penghargaan untuk Honda CBR250R, AHM juga menyabet lima penghargaan pada kategori lain yaitu: Best bebek 110-115cc untuk Honda Blade, Best Skutik 110-115cc untuk Honda Spacy PGM-FI, Best Skutik Premium untuk Honda PCX, dan Best of the Best Skutik untuk Honda PCX serta Best Sport 150-180cc untuk Honda CBR150R.
Dengan demikian, dalam ajang Otomotif Award 2012 ini, AHM berhasil mendapatkan delapan penghargaan dari total 18 penghargaan untuk produk-produk sepeda motor yang dijual di Indonesia.
“Kami persembahkan penghargaan ini untuk masyarakat pecinta Honda dan ini akan memicu kami untuk terus berusaha memberikan produk terbaik yang diinginkan konsumen dengan layanan purna jual terbaik,” ujar Head of Corporate Communication PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) Kristanto seusai menerima penghargaan ini, Rabu (21/03).
Dalam hal fitur, dikatakan Honda CBR250R merupakan motor pertama di dunia di kelasnya yang menerapkan teknologi Combined-ABS, yaitu sistem pengereman yang memadukan antara Combi Brake System dengan Antilock Braking System. Sistem ini menghasilkan performa pengereman yang efektif pada saat pengereman mendadak maupun pada kondisi jalan yang licin sehingga meningkatkan stabilitas kontrol terhadap kendaraan.
