Vario 2009: Dandan Gara-gara Pelek Peyang

GILAMOTOR.com. – Pergi merantau ke Ibu Kota membuat Fandy Irawan terkadang rindu dengan kampung halaman di daerah Jawa Tengah. Bermodalkan Honda Vario miliknya, Ia terkadang pulang ke daerah asalnya mengendarai skutik 110 cc tersebut. Tapi saat melewati  Cirebon, Ia menghajar lubang dan pelek bawaan motor pun peyang.

Setelah pulang kampung dan kembali kekota Jakarta, Ia mulai memikirkan kondisi motornya. “Pertama memang dipress, tapi sudah 2 minggu enggak kelar-kelar, mending ganti sekalian pakai pelek 17 inci,” katanya.

Alhasil, ia pun melucuti pelek palang asli motor dan diganti pakai pelek alumunium 17 inci. “Jadi bergaya ala Thailand gitu deh,” kata lelaki yang buka usaha airbrush dan pengecatan ini.

Tapi Ia masih memikirkan unsur keamanan, loh. Jadi gak asal ganti pelek yang super ramping. Walau aplikasi pelek alumunium, pria akrab disapa Pendi ini pakai ukuran yang agak lebar. “Depan lebar 1.6 dan belakang 1.85, biar tetap enak dipakai jalan jauh,” katanya.

Tapi setelah ganti pelek seperti ada rasa kurang puas, apalagi banyak motor konsumennya yang minta dicat juga sudah mengalami ubahan bergaya Thailand Look. “Dari situ saya mulai deh ikut pasang aksesoris. Satu-satu, sampai seperti sekarang ini,” urai punggawa Pendi Airbrush ini.

Walaupun enggak banyak aksesori yang terlihat mencolok, tapi sudah bikin mata menoleh ke  keskutik berkelir hijau ini. Walaupun kerjanya mengecat bodi motor, tapi skutik ini enggak kena sentuhan kreatif pen brushnya. “Saya lebih suka warna aslinya, termasuk mesin standar yang cukup mumpuni. Apalagi sering dipakai juga buat pulang kampung hehehe…,” katanya tertawa.

Aksesori yang dipilih juga berfungsi dengan baik dan tetap menunjang tampilan. Misalnya stabilizer setang SPS, sokbreker belakang Kitaco yang jarang diaplikasi anak-anak penggemar skutik, serta knalpot Tsukigi yang suaranya adem ayem.

Wah, bisa bergaya dikampung nih hehehe…
