Dominasi Vixion Sulit Dipatahkan

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Dominasi Yamaha V-Ixion di kelas motor sport 150cc terus berkibar. Kendati penjualannya hanya naik 1 persen selama periode Juli 2012 dari 32.080 unit jadi 32.445 unit, namun dominasinya sulit dipatahkan.

Perolehan pangsa pasar motor sport yang hadir sejak 2007 lalu ini jauh di atas motor sport lain di kelasnya. Data menyebutkan, V-Ixion menguasai pangsa pasar sebesar 46,42 persen segmen motor 150 cc.

Selain V-Ixion, seluruh jajaran motor sport Yamaha juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Byson meroket 92 persen dari 5.032 unit jadi 9.683 unit dan Scorpio meningkat sebesar 35 persen dari 858 unit jadi 1.161 unit.

Diakui Yamaha, desain, brand image dan performa motor sportnya mampu memikat dan masih menjadi pilihan utama masyarakat.

“Brand image motor sport Yamaha yang sporty, tangguh dan mimiliki performa yang handal masih melekat di hati masyarakat. Sehingga saat masyarakat ingin membeli motor sport yang punya performa tinggi dan handal, mereka memilih motor sport Yamaha,” tutur Eko Prabowo, GM Promotion and Motorsport PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).

Secara keseluruhan, kenaikan penjualan motor sport Yamaha mampu menkatrol penjualan sebesar14 persen selama bulan Juli 2012. Jika selama Juni secara keseluruhan terjual 37.979 unit di Juli terjual sebanyak 43.289 unit.

Angka ini juga menetapkan posisi Yamaha sebagai pemimpin pasar motor sport Tanah Air.
