Gilaaa… Gilmoters Geber V-Ixion Lightning Di Sentul Kecil Sampai Footstep Abis

GILAMOTOR.com. – Setelah puas mengeksplor New Yamaha V-Ixion dengan cara freestyle di kawasan Bintaro beberapa waktu lalu, Senin (8/4) kemarin Gilmoters menggiring dua unit New V-Ixion Lightning ke sirkuit Sentul Karting atau Sentul Kecil Bogor, Jawa Barat. Sejak jam 7.30 pagi, dua unit V-Ixion Lightning sudah stand by di paddock. Tapi sampai jam 8.00 para testers anggota aktif komunitas Gilamotor belum datang, padahal sebelumnya sudah sepakat acara menyiksa V-Ixion Lightning dimulai jam 8. Maklum bro en sis, habis begadang nonton MotoGP seri pembuka di sirkuit Losail, Qatar. Jadi bangunnya kesiangan dahh..

Jam 9 pagi, satu per satu Gilmoters mulai berdatangan. Ada 11 Gilmoters perwakilan chapter Depok, Bogor, Jakarta dan Bekasi. “Haseekkk… Kita mereng-mereeeng.. Kapan lagi geber motor baru di sirkuit,” celetuk Dwi Djoko Wahyono a.k.a Doel. Gilmoters Dhe-Boer. Mumpung masih pagi dan masih sepi, langsung saja pakai riding gear dan masuk ke sirkuit. Nggak perlu lama-lama mengenal karakter New V-Ixion, setelah satu lap, langsung saja gebers.. gass poll… sambil menikmati setiap tikungan sirkuit Sentul kecil di atas New V-Ixion.

Makin siang makin panas, makin semangat geber V-Ixion nya. Kebetulan hari itu pembalap nasional Harlan Fadilah lagi nyeting motor bareng timnya. Sekalian aja ikut-ikutan gaya balap dan racing line nya doi, walau ketinggalan jauh, dan sering di-overlap. Hehehe. Penyiksaan yang dilakukan Gilmoters berlangsung cukup lama. Datang paling awal pulang paling akhir. Sampai sirkuit sepi dan nggak ada lagi yang nyeting motor, Gilmoters masih asyik muter-muter di sikuit Sentul Kecil sambil mereng-mereng. Sekitar jam 17.30, para Gilmoters baru meninggalkan sirkuit. Terus hasilnya apa..?

Oke, sekarang kita ceritakan bagaimana handling, performa dan manuverability new V-Ixion Lightning menurut Gilmoters.

Mesin Dan Performa

Nggak bisa dipungkiri, mesin 150cc dengan kompresi 10.4 : 1 serta diameter x langkah 57.0mm x 58mm yang diklaim Yamaha punya luaran tenaga sampai 12,2 kW pada 8.500 rpm dan torsi maksimum mencapai 14.5 Nm pada 7.500 rpm memang mantap. Semua Gilmoters mengakui hal itu. “Responsif banget.. Akselerasinya oke banget. Pas buat jadi motor harian, stop en go nya mak nyuss,” ucap Budi Hasan Siregar, Gilmoters Bekasi.

Nggak cuma Budi, Febriansyah a.k.a Ebi, Gilmoters Bogor yang sering ikut balapan juga bilang hal serupa. “Putaran bawah sampai tengahnya oke banget. Sayang masih pakai limiter, jadi saat lagi enak-enaknya ngegeber V-Ixion, tiba-tiba tenaga hilang karena rpm dibatas di 10.000-an. Tapi secara keseluruhan oke banget, tenaga ngisi terus. Keluhan hanya pada suspensi yang terlalu lembut. Jadi saat nikung di kecepatan tinggi agak limbung. Itu kalau dites di sirkuit, tapi kalau di jalan raya mungkin pas,” beber Ebi.

Tidak adanya trek yang cukup panjang untuk mencoba top speednya, membuat Gilmoters cuma bisa geber mentok di 110 kpj. “Lepas tikungan terakhir buka gas lagi, tapi baru sampai 110 kudu tarik tuas rem dan engine break masuk tikungan pertama,” cerita Yudi Prasetyo.

Ya, karakter mesin long stroke yang digendong New V-Ixion memang galak di putaran bawah sampai menengah. Jadi torsi besar yang dihasilkan membuat akselerasi lebih rensponsif.

Handling dan Manuverability

Riding position Lightning memang terasa sedikit lebih racy ketimbang generasi lawas. Tapi kondisi itu tak memengaruhi kestabilan dan kemudahan kendalinya. Buktinya, Gilmoters sangat PeDe melahap tiap tikungan sirkuit Sentul Kecil. Sampai-sampai ujung footstep sebelah kiri dan kanan habis tergerus aspal saat cornering. “Buat mereng-mereng stabil banget. Nggak ngebuang. Sampai-sampai keenakan dengerin suara footstep kegerus aspal Sentul Kecil saat cornering. Jadi kalau cornering footstep nggak nempel di aspal tuh nggak enak,” cuap Irfan ‘Jam Karet’, Gilmoters Depok.

Bicara masalah handling dan cornering ability yang dirasakan para Gilmoters jadi bukti ucapan Yamaha kalau V-Ixion baru ini gesit dan lincah, ringan dikendalikan baik dengan counter steering maupun counter wight. Selain itu, berkat dukungan ban yang lebih lebar dari generasi terdahulu, bikin cornering makin PeDe. 90/80-17 ban depan dan 120/70-17 ban belakang. Selain itu, perubahan panjang rear arm yang bertambah 18mm dan pergeseran titik berat sebesar 1.7 persen bikin motor jadi lebih stabil. Jarak trail nya juga berubah dari 100mm menjadi 90 mm. Perubahan jarak trail nya jelas memengaruhi sudut rake nya yang berimbas pada kelincahan motor tersebut saat menikung. Ingat, semakin kecil sudut rake suatu motor, akan semakin lincah dan liar.

Eh iya.. Muter-muter sirkuit Sentul Kecil dari pagi sampai sore hari, kalau dihitung jarak tercatat sekitar 200-an km. Wuiihh, berasa turing Jakarta – Bandung, dooong.
