Masih Banyak Motor Pakai Sirine dan Strobo, Ini Kata Honda

GILAMOTOR.com – Kepolisian sudah menegaskan kalau penggunaan sirine dan lampu strobo (Sirbo) di sepeda motor akan ditilang. Tapi masih banyak bikers yang tetap menggunakan Sirbo pada motornya.

Di helatan Honda Bikers Day (HBD) yang digelar pada 14-15 Desember 2013 di Anyer, Banten, masih banyak ditemui bikers yang menggunakan Sirbo. Lantas apa tanggapan PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) selaku produsen motor ketika ditanyai masalah itu?

AHM sendiri memaparkan bahwa sesungguhnya pabrikan sudah meminta pengguna motor untuk selalu tertib dan mematuhi peraturan lalu lintas, termasuk penggunaan Sirbo. “Kami selalu meminta mereka untuk tertib di jalan dan mentaati peraturan lalu lintas. Malah salah satu ikrar bikers adalah membantu polisi, karena kami ingin sikap safety riding ini tumbuh bukan karena paksaan,” ucap General Manager Honda Customer Care Center (HC3) Division AHM Istiyani Susriyati di sela-sela jumpa pers HBD 2013.

Istiyani mengakui memang tak mudah untuk mengubah perilaku orang. Dibutuhkan usaha dan perjalanan yang panjang.  “Kami sudah memulai dari awal dengan memasukkan edukasi safety riding ke sekolah TK, SD sampai SMA.”

“Mimpi kami, ke depan tak ada lagi bikers yang menggunakan Sirbo,” cetusnya.

Di sisi lain, Head of Corporate Communication AHM Kristanto memaparkan, menjadi beban moral bagi perusahaan motor seperti Honda untuk masalah safety riding. Karena itu, Honda terus berusaha menggalakkan dan merealisasikan safety riding dengan cara formal dan non formal.

“Cara formal dengan Kementrian Pendidikan Nasional mulai dari TK sampai SMA. Kurikulum safety riding kita masukkan. Kita berharap bisa menyentuh seluruh provinsi karena merekalah generasi yang kita harapkan menjadi orang yang benar-benar tertib di jalan saat memiliki SIM 20 tahun mendatang,” tegasnya.
