Baksos Gilamotor Evalube Peduli Banjir

GILAMOTOR.com – Indonesia berduka. Mengawali tahun 2014, bencana alam menimpa beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Mulai dari banjir di Jakarta dan wilayah Jawa Tengah, banjir bandang di Manado, tanah longsor, hingga meletusnya gunung Sinabung di Sumatera Utara yang sudah terjadi sejak beberapa bulan lalu.

Melihat kondisi para korban bencana alam yang sangat-sangat membutuhkan bantuan sandang, pangan dan papan, kominitas GilamotorEvalube tergerak untuk melakukan aksi sosial guna meringankan beban para korban bencana alam dengan memberikan bantuan berupa pakian baru dan bekas layak pakai, mie instan, obat-obatan dan peralatan sanitasi. Aksi sosial dilakukan pada hari Sabtu 25 Januari 2014 kemarin di kawasan Bukit Duri Jakarta Selatan.

“Kami sebagai komunitas motor yang selalu menjunjung tinggi semangat brotherhood juga merasakan apa yang dirasakan para korban bencana. Langkah awal kami dalam bakti sosial ini dengan memberikan bantuan kepada korban banjir di Jakarta. Bantuan itu merupakan hasil sumbangan dari anggota komunitas GilamotorEvalube, pembaca portal Gilamotor.com. Dan kami juga mendapat dukungan dari pelumas Evalube dalam pelaksanaan bakti sosial ini,” kata Yudi Prasetyo, salah satu pengurus di komunitas GilamotorEvalube.

“Kami berterimakasih kepada pelumas Evalube yang selalu mendukung kami dalam setiap kegiatan positif yang kami selenggarakan. Dalam bakti sosial ini, Evalube mendukung kami dengan memberikan bantuan untuk disumbangkan ke korban banjir berupa uang tunai dan pakaian (t-shirt) baru,” tambah Yudi.

Karena luas dan meratanya titik-titik banjir di wilayah Jakarta, Bekasi dan Tangerang, maka bantuan yang sudah terkumpul disalurkan melalui Rumah Zakat yang membuka posko siaga banjir di kawasan Bukit Duri, Jakarta Selatan, dimana daerah itu merupakan salah satu kawasan yang diterjang banjir cukup parah.

“Kami ucapkan terimakasih kepada komunitas GilamotorEvalube yang telah memberikan bantuan ini. Bantuan yang diberikan ini khususnya obat-obatan dan alat sanitasi adalah yang paling dibutuhkan saat banjir surut,” kata Rizki, penanggung jawab Posko.

Meski bantuan yang diberikan tak banyak, tapi dengan keikhlasan hati para member GilamotorEvalube dan pembaca Gilamotor.com yang sudah menyisihkan sedikit rezkinya untuk diberikan kepada korban banjir diharapkan bisa sedikit mengurangi beban mereka.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Ivan Rastianto-Advertising & Promotions Manager PT WGI menjelaskan “Kami mendukung bakti sosial yang dilaksanakan oleh komunitas GilaMotorEvalube sebagai bentuk nyata kepedulian kita kepada saudara-saudara kita yang sedang tertimpa bencana. Penanggulangan musibah banjir khususnya di wilayah Jabodetabek adalah merupakan kewajiban moral kita bersama untuk membantu pemerintah dalam pemulihan bencana banjir yang terjadi. Hal ini sesuai dengan komitmen WGI untuk selalu turut serta mendukung kegiatan social sebagai bagian dari Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),” cetus Ivan.

“Harapan kami dengan adanya berbagai musibah yang dialami oleh rakyat Indonesia di tahun 2014 ini dapat menjadi intropeksi bagi kita semua agar kiranya tergerak untuk membantu meringankan beban para korban,” tutupnya.
