Brotherhood Sunday Fighting, BBMC Jakarta Ajak Biker Olahraga

Seperti yang dilakukan para pecinta motor tua yang tergabung dalam BBMC Indonesia Jakarta Chapter, mereka memperkenalkan dan mendekatkan diri ke berbagai lapisan masyarakat dengan melakukan kegiatan positif.

Nah, cara baru dalam pendekatan dan pengenalan diri yang dilakukan BBMC Jakarta Chapter kali ini dengan mengadakan event Brotherhood Sunday Fighting yang dilakukan pada Minggu (16/2) kemarin di Kemang Fight Gym.

Selain untuk meningkatkan semangat brotherhood sesame member, Brotherhood Sunday Fighting juga bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan Martial Arts sebagai sebuah media olahraga sekaligus lifestyle yang kini semakin populer di masyarakat.

BBMC mengajak para anggotanya untuk belajar hidup sehat, menjaga kebugaran fisik sekaligus menyalurkan minat dan bakat di bidang seni olahraga beladiri.

Vice President BBMC Jakarta Chapter, Herry Gotri Satriawan mengatakan, Brotherhood Sunday Fighting merupakan salah satu kegiatan BBMC dalam menunjukan eksistensinya sebagai klub penggemar motor tua yang memiliki kegiatan positif.

“Kita tahu penggemar Martial Arts datang dari berbagai kalangan termasuk selebritis dan ekspatriat, melalui acara ini kami ingin memperlihatkan kepada mereka bahwa kami memiliki cara tersendiri dalam bersosialisasi dengan masyarakat termasuk dalam melestarikan motor tua dengan kemasan ala BBMC. Melalui acara ini, kita ingin mengenal sekaligus mempopulerkan olahraga martial art sebagai salah satu pilihan para bikers,” ujar Gotri.

Hal lainnya yang menjadi tujuan acara ini menurut Gotri adalah dalam rangka memberdayakan anggotanya untuk memiliki fisik yang prima sebagai seorang biker termasuk berlatih self defense yang bisa diaplikasikan sehari-hari. “Konteksnya bukan untuk gagah-gagahan atau menjadi jagoan, tapi lebih kepada pemahaman bagaimana cara antisipasi kita menghadapi ancaman yang datang tidak terduga,” sambung Gotri.

Direncanakan, Brotherhood Sunday Fighting akan menjadi agenda tahunan BBMC Jakarta Chapter. “Kita merancang akan meningkatkan kontennya menjadi event yang profesional seperti kejuaraan antar bikers dalam merangkul komunitas lain serta upaya khas BBMC menyebarkan virus persaudaraan melalui cara yang berbeda,” sebut Mastom, Life Member BBMC Jakarta Chapter dari Mastomcustom Mary Jane Fight Club, salah satu perintis acara.
