Bikers Donor Darah Bareng VJ Marissa

GILAMOTOR.com – Setiap satu kantong darah yang didonorkan berarti ada tiga nyawa yang dapat kita selamatkan. Hal inilah yang mendasari diadakannya acara donor darah SOHO #BetterU di Pasar Jongkok Otomotif (PARJO) 3, Parkir Timur Senayan, Jakarta (01/03) kemarin.

SOHO #BetterU adalah kampanye SOHO Global Health untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih baik.

Aksi sosial ini diikuti 500 anggota komunitas roda dua dan roda empat untuk melakukan donor darah yang tergabung dalam 80 komunitas otomotif di Jabodetabek. Dari 80 komunitas yang ikut, Suzuki Owner Club (SOC) memenangkan komunitas terbanyak dalam donor darah.

Acara juga dimeriahkan oleh artis ibukota, Marissa Nasution atau yang biasa dikenal dengan VJ Marissa. Pada acara ini, Marissa menjadi host dan ikut berpartisipasi dengan menyumbangkan darahnya.

“Acara ini merupakan langkah awal untuk memulai donor darah rutin karena banyak manfaat yang bisa didapat ketika melakukan donor darah,” tutur Public Relations Manager SOHO Global Health, Nurlida Fatmikasari.

Wanita yang akrab disapa Mieke ini menambahkan, selain menyelamatkan nyawa orang lain, setiap pendonor juga mendapatkan manfaat untuk mengetahui kondisi kesehatannya secara berkala. Pada saat melakukan donor darah, minimal empat penyakit bisa diketahui. Melalui prosedur donor darah, sampel darah pendonor akan diuji dulu apakah bebas HIV, hepatitis B dan C, serta sifilis. Selain itu, akan diukur juga tekanan darah dan kadar hemoglobin.
