Ini Sosok Apache RTR Tunggangan Round the Borneo

GILAMOTOR.com – TVS Apache RTR 180 sukses bawa para riders tim Sound the Borneo (RTB) menyelesaikan petualangannya di tanah Kalimantan.

Mesin Apache RTR tunggangan Andry Belianto, Ade Imanuddin, Yeremia Eclesia Theorandaru dan Eleonora Ajisena Agrippina masih strandar pabrikan. Kecuali tampilannya yang sedikit mendapat ubahan untuk mendukung petualangan yang lebih nyaman.

Dengan alasan fungsi dan kenyamanan, penggantian dan pebambahan beberapa komponen dilakukan. Kecuali mesinnya karena mereka menganggap mesin standar Apache RTR 180 cukup mumpuni untuk mengantarkan mereka menjelajah tanah Borneo.

Ubahan pertama di bagian setang. Karena setang jepit (clip-on) akan mengurangi kenyamanan ketika berkendara jarak jauh dengan beragam kondisi jalan, tim RTB mengganti setang clip-on jadi model touring atau setang lebar yang dikombinasikan dengan raiser (peninggi setang). Tujuannya biar posisi berkendara jadi nyaman, tidak terlalu merunduk.

Nggak ketinggalan, di setangnya dipasangkan handguard buat melindungi tangan pengendara dengan benturan dari arah depan atau ketika kendaraan terjatuh.

Untuk mengantisipasi sekaligus melindungi hempasan angin dari depan yang langsung mengarah ke tubuh pengendara, tim RTB juga mengaplikasi windshield yang tingginya disesuakan dengan tinggi badan masing-masing penunggang Apache RTR 180.

Ini juga ubahan yang nggak kalah penting dan sepertinya harus dilakukan, yaitu penambahan box buat menyimpan barang bawaan dan logistic agar terhindar dari hujan. Di tiap unit Apache RTR 180 ini dilengkapi dengan sidebox aftermarket. Penempatan box ini diatur agar tidak mempengaruhi kestabilan berkendara.

Di sektor kaki-kaki, gir depan dan belakang mengandalkan gir SINNOB dengan kombinasi 14/48 dan 14/44 yang juga disesuakan dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi di lapangan.
