Yamaha Kembali Kuasai Pasar Motor Sport

GILAMOTOR.com – Setelah Januari lalu sempat tergusur oleh Honda dari puncak pasar motor sport tanah air, di Februari 2014 Yamaha kembali menguasai segmen motor sport.

Bahkan Yamaha mengakui, pencapaian penjualannya sepanjang Februari 2014 menungkat 56.02 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Kali ini kembali V-Ixion berkontribusi dengan lonjakan tajam.

Dalam keterangan resmi yang dikeluarkan Yamaha (17/3) dijelaskan, sepanjang Februari motor sport Yamaha terjual sebanyak 46.910 unit atau naik 56.02 persen dibanding Januari yang hanya 30.067 unit.

Angka itu didapat berkat kontribusi V-Ixion yang semakin mengukuhkan posisinya sebagai motor sport paling diminati. Tercatat V-Ixion terjual sebanyak 42.597 unit atau naik 62.78 persen dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Sementara motor sport lainnya terjual sebanyak 3.950 unit untuk Byson yang mengalami kenaikan 13.47 persen dan Scorpio sebanyak 363 unit.

”Tetap kuatnya penjualan sport Yamaha membuktikan konsumen tetap loyal menggunakan produk-produk kami, karena percaya akan kualitas nomor satunya. Dan di Februari 2014 terjadi kenaikan signifikan baik total sport maupun primadonanya yaitu V-Ixion. Kondisi ini menandakan sport Yamaha paling favorit di market Indonesia,” beber Eko Prabowo, GM Promotion & Community Development Yamaha Indonesia.
