Heinrich juga memaparkan bahwa konsep motor ini tetap memiliki nilai-nilai klasik yang ditafsirkan dengan gaya modern. Bahkan ditekankan Heinrich, setiap lekuk desainnya dibuat sangat emosional untuk mewakili 90 tahun kiprah merek ini.
BMW Concept Roadster dipersenjatai dengan mesin 1.170cc 2 silinder flat-twin yang bertenaga, single sided swing arm dengan shaft drive. Untuk memangkas bobotnya, BMW mengaplikasi rangka tubular yang ringan.
“BMW Concept Roadster menunjukkan kekuatan esensi dari sebuah Roadster BMW. Dilihatnya sangat memesona dan tentu saja sangat menarik untuk dikendarai,†ucap Ola Stenegard.
Mesinnya diklaim mampu memproduksi tenaga hingga 125 bhp pada 7.750 rpm dan torsi maksimum 125 Nm pada 6.500 rpm.
