GILAMOTOR.com – Yamaha Byson dengan mesin injeksi akan hadir di Indonesia. Diungkapkan Eko Prabowo GM Marketing Communication & Community Development PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing [YIMM], Byson injeksi akan hadir tahun depan.

“Yamaha Byson Injeksi akan hadir tahun depan,” ucap Eko Prabowo singkat di sela acara Indonesia Technician Grand Prix [ITGP] 2014 di Sentul.

Di India, Byson punya nama FZ. Generasi terakhirnya sudah diperkenalkan dengan mengusung desain dan mesin baru. Perubahan dari generasi sebelumnya terlihat di banyak sektor, mulai dari lampu depan hingga bagian belakangnya. Penyegaran tampilannya membuat Byson terlihat jadi makin sangar dan gambot.

Kapasitas mesin memang diturunkan dari 153 cc menciut jadi 149 cc. Hasilnya, tenaganya pun merosot dari 14 PS jadi 13,1 PS dan torsi dari 13,6 Nm jadi 12,8 Nm. Tapi, mesin yang sudah mengadopsi teknologi injeksi dan bobot yang lebih ringan 3 kg, tentunya jadi penyeimbang pengurangan kapasitas mesin.

Selain itu, Byson di India telah mengaplikasi teknologi injeksi Blue Core yang diklaim mampu meningkatkan efisiensi konsumsi bahan bakar hingga 14 persen.
