BBMC Jakarta Chapter Bersihkan Tugu Proklamasi

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Momentum peringatan Hari Kebangkitan Nasional 20 Mei diisi oleh Bikers Brotherhood MC (BBMC) Jakarta Chapter dengan kegiatan positif.

Seperti prinsip dasar yang diletakan sebagai pondasi BBMC, Brotherhood, Pride, Respect, Loyal, Honour, anggota BBMC menerjemahkannya dengan menyulut semangat Nasionalisme di antaranya membersihkan Tugu Proklamasi sebagai salah satu simbol kedaulatan perjuangan bangsa Indonesia, Sabtu (19/5) kemarin.

Vice President BBMC Jakarta Chapter, Herry Gotri Satriawan mengatakan, acara ini bertujuan untuk memupuk rasa kebangsaan anggota BBMC sekaligus kepedulian BBMC Jakarta Chapter terhadap warisan perjuangan para pahlawan.

“Sikap kita jelas, menjaga martabat NKRI yang utuh dan berdaulat yang kita tunjukan dengan style kita ala BBMC. Turut merawat pusaka warisan pahlawan seperti halnya Tugu Proklamasi ini adalah kegiatan yang akan kita jadikan agenda rutin setiap tahunnya,” ujar Gotri.

Ditambahkan Gotri, semua aktifitas yang dilakukan BBMC tidak lepas dari program organisasi yakni Brotherhood for Culture, Education, Nature, Care dan Brotherhood for Bandung Condusive.

“Di usianya yang baru 2 tahun, BBMC Jakarta Chapter akan terus mencoba membuat program-program yang bersinergi dengan masyarakat baik dari sisi budaya, pendidikan, social kemasyarakatan dan tentunya di bidang otomotif .”

Acara ini melibatkan puluhan anggota BBMC Jakarta Chapter yang melakukannya hasil dari sukarela sumbangan anggota. Sementara areal Taman Proklamasi yang dibersihkan meliputi monumen dan tugu serta tembok yang penuh dengan coretan vandalisme.
