Byson 2010 Bergaya CB1000

GILAMOTOR.com. – Bermodal Yamaha Byson yang notabene sudah termasuk motor jenis street fighter memang paling asik dijadikan bahan modifikasi.

Banyak sumber inspirasi untuk modifikasinya, bisa dari ide sendiri atau membuatnya jadi mirip motor gede idaman semua orang. Hal itulah yang dilakukan Andika Kairuliawan.

Yup, modifikator dari Balu Oto Work (BOW) ini mengubah Yamaha Byson milik rekannya menjadi Honda CB1000. Bukan dengan cangkok mesin moge keluaran Honda tersebut, tapi dengan memodifikasi part bodinya.

“Pakai bahan fiber berkualitas, aku cetak dari tanah liat dulu sebelum dibuat fibernya,” kata Andika yang juga dosen di sebuah Universitas di Yogyakarta.

Sudah beberapa kali modifikator muda ini mengubah Yamaha Byson rekannya ini menjadi bergaya motor-motor gede. “Pernah jadi Ducati Hypermotard, street fighter dan terakhir ini bergaya Honda CB1000,” terang pria yang juga anggota Byonic Yogyakarta ini.

Wah bosenan dong, kok motornya diubah-ubah terus gayanya? Bukan begitu, kan bodi-bodi tadi juga diproduksi dan dijual bebas bro. “Buat bayangan konsumen bagaimana wujud Yamaha Byson kalau dipakein bodi motor lain, jadi enggak kecele nantinya,” kata Andika yang bermarkas di Jl. Pramuka no.53, Giwangan, Yogyakarta ini.

Setelah bodi ala motor gede Honda tersebut selesai, Andika bersama kru dari BOW ini melaburinya dengan cat berwarna hitam mengkilap dan hitam doff untuk beberapa part bodi. “Supaya terlihat sangar, kan street fighter cocok kalau dibuat seperti ini,” kata Andika lagi.

Asiknya, semua pemasangan full bodi baru ini enggak ribet loh. Dudukan bodi custom ini sudah disesuaikan dengan bawaan motor, jadi tinggal plek saja. Mau dibalikin standar lagi? Ya gampang saja karena sistemnya ini knock down.

Sebagai sentuhan terakhir, Andika memasangkan ban Battlax BT92 untuk roda belakang dan knalpot keluaran R9.
