Yamaha R15 Muncul di Sentul

Motor sport yang rencananya akan masuk pasar Indonesia pada smester pertama 2014 itu akan diperlihatakan Yamaha Indonesia di Sentul bersamaan helatan Asean Cup Race 2013 (30 November – 1 Desember).

“Kami mendatangkan 25 unit R15 dari India untuk balapan Yamaha Asean Cup Race 2013,” ucap M Abidin, GM Service and Motor Sport Yamaha Indonesia di jumpa wartawan pembukaan YACR di Hotel Sultan (29/11) kemarin.

Di katakan Abidin, 25 unit R15 yang digunakan di Yamaha Asean Cup Race itu telah dimodifikasi untuk kebutuhan balap. Meski tak banyak ubahan, tapi Abidin menegaskan kalau speknya sudah spek racing meski tak 100 persen. “Ada beberapa ubahan untuk meningkatkan performa seperti penggantian muffler, ECU, ban.”

“Di tahun ini dibuka kelas Sport dengan R15 yang memberikan pengalaman membalap dengan motor sport, tidak hanya motor bebek. Melalui event ini pun Yamaha ingin mempertegas brand image khususnya lewat motorsport yang dan sebagai persiapan untuk kompetisi di tahun 2014,” tutup Abidin.
