Honda Siapkan CBR500 dan CB500

GILAMOTOR.com. – Setelah beberapa bulan lalu sempat diprediksi bahwa Honda tengah mengembangkan CBR250R dengan pengembangan mesin mesin menjadi 400cc, kini spyshot motor tersebut mulai beredar.

Namun prediksi tersebut sedikit meleset karena motor tersebut diternggarai sebagai New CBR500.

Tak hanya satu, Honda menyiapkan dua varian sekaligus yakni CBR500 dengan desian full fairing dan CB500 dengan desain naked bike atau streetfighter.

Dari spyshot yang beredar, desain CBR500 berbeda dengan CBR250R namun lebih mendekati desain CBR600RR. Motor full fairing berkelir putih itu hadir dengan dua lampu depan seperti CBR600RR hanya saja desainnya terlihat lebih membulat pada sudutnya. Sementara CBR600RR memiliki desain sudut yang tajam.

Kendati tak terlihat secara detil, para pemerhati otomotif roda dua memprediksi bahwa CBR500 akan mengusung rangka baja tubular seperti yang diaplikasi pada CBR250R.

Dengan hadirnya dua generasi baru Honda bermesin 500cc, menjadi pilihan baru bagi pecinta motor sport yang ingin menikmati tenaga yang lebih besar dibanding CBR250R dan tak lebih galak dari CBR600RR.

Diperkirakan motor ini akan diluncurkan untuk pasar Inggris dan Eropa bagi mereka yang ingin meningkatkan kapasitas mesinnya sebelum mencicipi kapasitas mesin yang lebih besar. Pasalnya, di negara tersebut pengendara setidaknya harus mengendarai motor dengan mesin kecil selama dua tahun sebelum beranjak ke mesin yang lebih besar.
