“Kami berada dalam kondisi yang prima saat ini dan tiga kemenagan tahun ini lebih dari yang aku miliki di MotoGP musim sebelumnya,†ungkap pembalap asal Spanyol ini.
“Aku merasa sangat yakin untuk balapan berikutnya pekan depan. Hasil balapan di Indianapolis sangat hebat dan memuaskan kendati untuk kemenangan itu menuntut fisik yang tinggi. Dan kami tidak punya banyak waktu untuk mengembalikan kondisi fisik sebelum balapan di Misano akhir pekan depan,†aku Pedrosa.
Menurut pembalap yang belum lama datang ke Indonesia untuk memberikan sedikit ilmu dan pengalamannya kepada siswa di Honda Racing School, Tim Honda Racing sedang dalam suasana hati yang baik dan yakin akan meraih hasil maksimal dalam balapan pekan depan.
Perbedaan poin antara dirinya dan Lorenzo yang cukup jauh, membuat pembalap Honda ini menuntut dirinya harus fokus dan konsisten menjadi pemenang pada setiapn balap mendatang.
Kendati dirinya mengakui bahwa Misano merupakan sirkuit yang sulit bagi Honda dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, namun Pedrosa bertekad akan menyelesaikan balapan sebaik mungkin dan kembali menjadi yang terdepan.
Tak hanya Pedrosa, rekan satu timnya di Repsol Honda, Andrea Dovisiozo menargetkan dirinya untuk meraih podium dalam balapan pekan depan.
