Kawasaki Ninja 150 Berakhir di 2015

GILAMOTOR.com, Jakarta. – Motor 2 tak Kawasaki Ninja 150 sesungguhnya masih jadi primadona. Bahkan saat pabrikan Jepang lain menghentikan penjualan motor 2 tak di Indonesia, Kawasaki Ninja 150 justeru semakin meningkat.

Dikatakan Reiner M. Sitorus, Sales Promotion KDD Departement Marketing & Sales Division PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI), minat masyarakat terhadap Kawasaki Ninja 150 2 tak justeru semakin tinggi.

Kendati Reiner tak menyebutkan secara detil berapa pertumbuhan penjualan Ninja bermesin 2 tak itu, tapi dia menegaskan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan Ninja 150 meningkat.

Tahun depan, Ninja 150 akan mengalami penyegaran tampilan. Desainnya akan sedikit menyasar pada desain Ninja 250R. Namun demikian, ubahannya hanya menyasar pada sektor tampilan saja dan tak menyentuh sektor mesin.

“Tenaganya sudah besar. Jadi tak perlu ada perubahan di mesin. Kami hanya menyegarkan tampilannya saja agar lebih sporty,” kata Reiner.

Sayangnya, motor legendaris pabrikan Jepang yang khas dengan warna hijau ini akan dihentikan produksinya pada 2015 mendatang. Isu lingkungan dan motor ramah lingkungan menjadi penyebab penghentian produksi Ninja 150.

“Ninja 150 akan diproduksi hingga 2015 mendatang,” terang Reiner. Penghentian produksinya untuk memasuki era motor injeksi dan pemenuhan standar emisi Euro3 yang dijadwalkan akan ditetapkan mulai 2013.

Walau produksinya akan dihentikan pada 2015, namun bagi pemilik Ninja 150 tak perlu khawatir. Pasalnya motor bermesin 2 tak itu akan tetap diperbolehkan melintas di jalan raya Indonesia dan Kawasaki akan tetap memenuhi layanan after sales dan suku cadangnya.
